Brooklyn 99 is one of the funniest cop shows to ever grace the airwaves, but with so many funny moments, which are the funniest? We’ve put together a list of the three funniest moments that still have us chuckling from Brooklyn 99.
1. When Rosa got a puppy
Arlo is the puppy handed to Rosa and the hard ass, unemotional Rosa couldn’t help but fall in love with the gorgeous golden retriever. “I’ve only had Arlo for a day and a half, but if anything happened to him, I would kill everyone is this room and then myself.”
2. Real Ray or Fake Ray
One part of the 99 that is often overlooked is the side-splitting game that Peralta creates during the 99’s weekend away to Charles’ ex-wife’s beach house. Finding a way to bring Holt down to the level of the other detectives and uniting the squad after a less than ideal start to the weekend, Real Ray or Fake Ray has Peralta doing so funny impressions of Holt and gives us a wider look at the world of the 99 outside of the squad room.
3. The Halloween Capers
We know these aren’t standalone moments, but the first Halloween caper (stealing Holt’s medal of valor) and the sequels that follow are truly hilarious moments, especially the reveals that come at the end of each episode. Resulting in the winner being praised as an amazing detective slash genius, and the memes that then followed on the internet.
